About

nagareru

To stream; to flow.

The nature of a river is to move towards its destination without resistance and with continuous fluid motion.

The river will continue to move over and around any objects in its path. This continuous motion will eventually move the objects or smooth them out to create a more fluid path. If we become as flexible as water in our approach to crisis, we will surely increase our chances of bringing peace to any situation.

Standard Certification

Practitioners learn to address safety as the single focus for managing aggression. Learning not to “intervene” the crisis of another while recognizing that the responsibility to “manage” lies with the aggressor and organization’s behavior modification program. HELP practitioner’s will assist the aggressive individual in regaining control/power in order to better manage the crisis at hand.

Instructor Certification

Practitioner’s learn all of the base knowledge taught in the standard program while adding the element of group support, problem solving, and teamwork. Application of techniques, skill development, and group discussion all provide Helper’s (staff members) the necessary tools to teach these principle’s on their own. Instructor’s will leave with the ability to insure that in an incident, the environment is safe for those around them and respect is maintained for the aggressor (Learner).

Communication Certification

Helpers (staff members) will develop the ability to communicate safely and effectively with the aggressor (Learner) in three main steps. To begin, Helpers will establish rapport and connect with the Learner. Second, gathering information allows the Learner to feel supported while strengthening the established rapport. Finally, assistance in making a plan of action for less volatile problem solving techniques.

E-Certification

Helpers (staff members) will learn the leadership and technical skills required to perform effectively in aggressive situations. Our Online Certification gives those unable to travel the opportunity to make a difference in their organization through the philosophies and tenants taught within the HELP system.

Re-Certification

HELP alumni have the ability to attain their re-certification in the program that they previously graduated from. The process is simple and will assure that the capabilities achieved in past programs are fresh in the Helpers mind so that they may always maintain safety.
